QT-RL-YFM700 : Yamaha Raptor 700R MSVA Road Kit

Plug and play road legal conversion kit.

DVSA changed the MSVA rules in July 2026 and now require more substantial security than they've accepted for the last 23 years.

We can supply a plug and play immobiliser as part of the kit, or, you can supply your own high quality padlock that must fit under the seat that can be locked around the rear sprocket.

The OEM halogen headlights with indicators mounted on the side will pass MSVA, but the beam pattern isn't great and the indicators can easily be knocked off when riding off-road.

The LED headlight upgrade makes a huge difference to both the looks of the quad and night vision.

For ease of fitting we connect directly to the factory fitted speed sensor in the gearbox to drive the speedometer.

To pass MSVA you will also need

Security device - either electronic or mechanical.
E-Marked Tyres
Replacement clutch lever from Yamaha Banshee / Raptor 660 / LTZ400 - either purchase or loan.
The original clutch/handbrake lever is the same as fitted to the 2007 Factory road legal Raptor 350 so will pass MOT.
